Submitting Assignments On Blackboard-46
When setting assignments that require students to create a media-based output, these video and audio files can be uploaded and submitted to a media server (called Medial) via a Blackboard Assignment submission point. There are benefits for both staff and students when they upload and submit video and audio files to Medial, rather than simply submitted as an attached file: Android is not currently supported by Medial. If faculty need assistance with this issue, contact Harold Strassner or Judie Littlejohn for assistance.

Important note 1: It is essential that you allow ample time before the submission deadline to upload your media file to Kaltura (we recommend that you allow at least two hours before the submission deadline).

IMPORTANT: Before making your submission, please read Things to be aware of before submitting.

When an assignment is available for you to submit, it will become a clickable link on the Coursework tab in Blackboard.

The original Blackboard notice can be found on the Blackboard knowledge-base site.

A fix is planned for an upcoming Blackboard update, but there currently (April 2018) is no estimated date on when that may be installed.
